This collection
is approved with the following terms of clearance: BLS has agreed
to construct CPS employment by sex by NAICS-based industry series
back to 1983, using the same series reconstruction technique
employed by the CES with its NAICS conversion in 2003. This will
provide a continuous historical series of CPS data that will
facilitate analyses of women workers similar to analyses that can
be done with the CES women workers series. BLS will notify users of
the CES women workers series about this series reconstruction and
will inform them when the CPS data series is available.
